What If This Is the Moment That Makes You?
A personal reflection on holding your dream, your brilliance, and your leadership steady—even when the ground is shifting.
Lately, I’ve been reflecting on how certain seasons carry a quiet shift. Not loud or obvious—just a subtle sense that something familiar has changed. The energy moves differently. The spaces that once felt certain now feel... softer around the edges. The rhythm feels slower. The affirmation, more reserved.
It’s no one thing, really. Just a feeling—a noticing. And when you’re someone who leads with heart and intention, you tend to feel those shifts deeply. Even when nothing is said out loud, something still settles in your spirit and asks: What does this moment require of me now?
I’ve been holding that question gently—some days with clarity, other days with uncertainty. But through it all, one truth has stayed with me: we don’t stop showing up just because the ground feels unsteady. We adjust. We root deeper. We remember who we are.
And still, we lead.
With intention. With vision. With fire.
We build.
We dream.
And here’s what I’ve come to believe without question: you were born for such a time as this.
That phrase has been echoing in my spirit lately. Not because any of this is easy or fair—but because this season is calling something deeper out of you. Something rooted. Something divine.
This moment isn’t just about navigating change. It’s about the emotional weight of continuing to lead, grow, and create while carrying generations of dreams on our backs. It’s about how hard it is to keep showing up when the momentum feels like it’s slowing down, just as we were beginning to feel seen.
But what if the ground shifting beneath you is actually aligning you?
What if this season, as disorienting as it feels, is quietly setting the foundation for something more rooted? More honest? More you?
But none of this is new.
We’ve always had to build while being underestimated.
We’ve always had to speak up in rooms that weren’t made for us.
We’ve always turned pressure into purpose.
So while the momentum shifts and the applause softens, we do what we’ve always done—turn inward, turn to each other, and turn up the volume on our dreams.
If you’re tired, rest.
If you’re discouraged, release.
But don’t retreat. Not now. Not when your voice, your vision, your leadership is needed more than ever.
This season is reminding me—and maybe it’s reminding you, too—that the work we do isn’t just relevant. It’s necessary. It’s legacy work.
And when we start to question whether our dreams still matter, that’s usually a sign that they matter even more.
What you’re building—your vision, your voice, your platform—is planting seeds that will take root, even in uncertain soil.
You’re not just reacting to the moment—you’re leading through it.
Now more than ever, I believe we need to continue showing up in spaces that affirm diverse leadership, brilliance, and ambition—especially our own. We need to stay connected to the people and places that reflect our worth back to us.
Because here’s the truth I’m holding onto: the dreams and visions you carry are not just valid—they’re needed. They will be valued.
Now is not the time to cower or shrink.
Now is the time to believe—fully—in your dream, your brilliance, and your right to take up space.
This moment isn’t just testing your resilience—it’s refining your purpose.
When progress is met with resistance, it’s usually because that progress was powerful.
What you're building—your vision, your voice, your platform—is planting seeds that will take root in spite of resistance.
✨ So how do we reclaim power in uncertain times?
We get rooted. We remember who we are. And we focus on what we can influence—even when the bigger picture feels unclear.
✨ Focus on what’s within your control.
Your clarity. Your creativity. Your emotional boundaries. Your healing. Your joy.
✨ Make an impact—no matter the scale.
Change doesn’t always look like a headline. Sometimes it’s mentoring one person. Sometimes it’s choosing softness. Sometimes it’s making space for your next idea.
✨ Lead from truth, not fear.
This isn’t the time to dim. It’s the time to lead in a way that aligns with your values—on your terms.
Even if the systems don’t see you, your purpose still stands.
Even if the applause stops, your impact echoes.
Even if the path is unclear, your presence is still powerful.
💭 Dream Practice
Reflect on:
What does “leading on your own terms” look like right now?
What legacy are you building, even in moments that feel uncertain?
How can you practice courage in small, daily ways this week?
Affirmation:
Even when the world is uncertain, I am not. I lead with purpose, protect my peace, and choose to keep dreaming out loud.
With heart, purpose, and big dreams,
